It offers a high standard of accommodation with two bedrooms, a modern kitchen and comfortable sitting room. The cottage is a great choice for families wanting to tour the Yorkshire Coast and the North Yorks Moors National Park.
Skinningrove is a peaceful fishing village on Yorkshire's heritage coastline. As it is a small village there are limited amenities and attractions, though there are a few small local businesses where you can pick up supplies or a bite to eat and the Cleveland Ironside Mining Museum for a bit of culture. There are several nearby towns and villages both along the coast and into the National Park offering more to see and do including the seaside resorts of Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Whitby, the market town of Guisborough and the Moors Villages on the Esk Valley Walk.
Accommodation at his contemporary Skinningrove cottage is all on one level, making it ideal for small children and guests with mobility problems. There are two bedrooms; a master double bedroom with pine frame bed, and an adult bunk bedroom with a double bed underneath and single bunk above. Both bedrooms are served by the family bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower. The contemporary kitchen has a full compliment of convenient appliances. The sitting room has seating for five.
A communal garden with lawned and gravelled areas, garden furniture and BBQ is to the front of the property, as is parking space for two vehicles. Drummer Cottage is kept warm via gas central heating. All fuel and electricity costs are already included in the rent. One well behaved pet is allowed at the cottage. There is a shop and a cafe just a five minute walk away.
