Visit Spylaw Farm in Northumberland and enjoy Chatton accommodation that's affordable, relaxing and ideal for a quiet break. Our working farm is home to our animals and our beautiful B&B and self-catering properties, and is only a short distance from the centre of the village of Chatton where you'll find a shop and traditional village pub. We aim to be self-sufficient as much as possible and have our own hens, geese, turkeys, ducks and sheep, bred here on the farm. Visit for a warm and friendly welcome and the chance to enjoy locally-sourced and home-grown produce for a holiday that gives you a true taste of the North East.

Our B&B is a wonderful retreat given the Enjoy England Gold Award for quality. Our breakfasts are award-winning and our beautifully furnished bedrooms feature twin or double beds and private or en-suite bathrooms. All rooms include a private lounge with TV and DVD facilities and in The Garden Room and The Hayloft those lounges include a log-burning stove. The Hayloft is suitable for families, complete with a child's bed, and The Kyloe Suite has a king-sized bed. The property also includes a communal guest lounge including a log-burning stove. We provide tea and coffee-making supplies and a selection of sweet baked goods, as well as complimentary toiletries.

We are very happy to welcome families with children. Guests under the age of eleven stay half price. We can provide cots and high chairs on request. We're a great base for walking and cycling holidays, and we offer secure bike storage on site. We also have a drying room for outdoor gear and for boots. Visit for a special occasion and you're welcome to request a romantic dinner for two. We can have champagne or flowers waiting on arrival. We also host a wide range of activities and events including courses in art, flower arranging, shooting and bird-watching, and we're able to welcome you to book the entire B&B for a group, and perhaps enjoy one of our dinner parties. All food served at Spylaw Farm comes from right here within our four acres of farmland, or is locally-sourced. Freshly baked goods, home-made preserves, eggs and full meals are available on request. We can provide hampers and packed lunches, seasonal suppers and afternoon teas. We sell free-range eggs and seasonal vegetable boxes and welcome you to pick your own fresh produce, and we'd be happy for you to visit our free-roaming livestock in various nearby locations, including our pigs in the walled garden at Chillingham. All of our animals are completely free range, and can be found all over the farm and in other locations throughout the area. Throughout your stay, you're welcome to share our food and enjoy our love for quality produce. Special diets are catered for by arrangement.
