The Centre of Britain Hotel, located in Haltwhistle, provides high class accommodation with a unique flair. The properties that form the hotel are steeped in history and character. The main building is Haltwhistle’s most historic building having been once a Border Reiver’s Pele Tower dating back to the 15th century! This property was refurbished in 1997 and unearthed were many architectural features that have now been restored to create stunning interiors. Other suites can be found in the neighbouring building that was once a Medieval Bastle House and in the courtyard are newly built chalets.
