A wonderfully modern, spacious holiday home for six, The Granary Cottage near Durham stands on our working livestock farm. It's six miles from the historic city and under an hour from North East beaches, and it's suitable for families being just two miles from Diggerland and within reach of The Centre for Life. Enjoy walks or bike rides in beautiful County Durham countryside, or visit historic Alnwick Castle or Holy Island for a day trip. Also nearby are excellent shops, and shopping centres including the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
The Granary features two double bedrooms (one of which is an en-suite) and one twin bedroom. It has a fitted open-plan kitchen with laundry facilities, a dishwasher, a microwave and a cooker, and we've included smaller essential appliances such as a kettle and toaster. A modern dining table is included, and there's a wall-mounted contemporary fire. In the lounge, you'll find a flatscreen TV and a DVD player, as well as a music system for alternative entertainment.
